Before the window
Mark your chart, write your plan, and get VALID / INCOMPLETE / INVALID against your model, with a confidence score on each rule. VALID means only that your plan matches your own written rules, not that a trade is a good idea.
During the session
Frustrated, feeling FOMO, hesitant, or itching for a revenge trade? Tell Coach, and send a chart as the session moves. Coach replies with which of your own rules your marked chart and your notes do or don't meet.
After the trade
Coach grades each trade and the session on your checklist, not P&L, and gives you one thing to work on next session.
What's in the app
Before the window, a verdict against the rules you saved: valid, incomplete, or invalid. That only means the note matches your rules, not that a trade is a good idea. During the session, say you're off and attach the chart you marked. Afterward, the grade is the checklist, not the money. Coach never says what to buy or sell.
The session log is the chat, the screenshots, and a CSV you export yourself from NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Rithmic, or TopstepX. It stays on your device. A ZIP moves it to another device. Tape Coach does not log into the platform.

Put your setup into plain-language rules: bias, liquidity, entry zone, invalidation, session window, risk, and the limits you set for yourself (like "stop after 2 losses").

Upload your marked chart and plan. Coach replies VALID / INCOMPLETE / INVALID with confidence for each rule.

Tell Coach how you feel, attach the chart, and read the grade on your checklist. The journal keeps the chat and the screenshots.

Open Test me. Take or pass on a masked chart. The scores say whether you followed your rules. They are not a profit record.

No. Tape Coach is journaling and rules-checking software. It doesn't recommend trades, give signals or predict markets. It only checks your plans and trades against rules you wrote. All trading decisions are yours.
You message Coach and send the chart you're looking at, including when you feel frustrated, hesitant, or ready to revenge-trade. Coach checks that chart and your notes against your own rules, such as your loss limit, entry trigger, and session window. It is not watching a live feed. It doesn't tell you to enter, exit, or hold, and it doesn't predict price. All decisions stay yours.
